You Are Needed!

Heb 10:24-25

24) And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,

25) not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

We need to make ____________ in our lives for what God seeks to do in the lives of others.

When we make room, the Spirit is able to do so much more than we would know to ask for.

The Holy Spirit is a Person.

John 14:16

“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—

John 14:26

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and

bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity.

Matt 3:16,17

16) When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.

17) And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Things the Spirit will bring:

Act 9:31 Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

John 16:13 “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Act 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Gal 5:22,23 | 22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23) gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

1Cor 12:7-11

7) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:

8) for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through

the same Spirit,

9) to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,

10) to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another

different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

11) But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

You can expect the Holy Spirit to come into your life.
